History...
Karate Group Alliance was formed on mid 2009. The founder is Mr Tan Boon Pin who is always dedicated to develop Karate Sport in Perak. Therefore, Kobe Osaka Perak Karate-Do Association was then officially formed on December 2010.
Once the association is officially formed, around 20 chinese primary schools in Perak started their karate classes in cooperation with the association. Basic learners are given basic training and a number of fighters are born when time goes by. Fighters consist of young children and adolescents.
The objectives of the association are (1) increase the awareness of self-defense among public; (2) increase the number of potential athletes in Perak; (3) develop physical health of young population; (4) emphasize on the teaching of moral values; and (4) enhance young population's competency in several areas.
The instructor team consists of young adult who actively involved in Karate. Their young age serves as a bridge for better understanding of the young learners' attitude. They serve as instructors as well as peers to the young learners. The association believes that by doing so, fighters' discipline and morale can be strengthened.
